Other neuropsychology rehabilitation programmes
REHACOG is a neuropsychology rehabilitation programme that focuses on preventing and slowing cognitive deterioration. The programme works as an integral rehabilitation tool that improves cognition, functionality and quality of life in older people. It helps to prevent the cognitive deterioration that occurs with dementia.
Reading a smile
This programme is an adaptation to Spanish of the Australian “Reading a Smile (and Other Great Expressions)” by Cristina Bornhofen, Skye McDonald.
It focuses on treatment of emotion perception deficits. Originally designed for people with acquired brain injury, the programme has proven particularly effective for other populations with development disorders (i.e. Aspergers), psychiatric conditions (i.e. schizophrenia) and other cerebral lesions.
The ECC programme (compensatory cognitive training) intends to address and rehabilitate cognitive deficits, helping people to face the limitations caused by this condition from another perspective.
