Physiotherapy + Physical Activity and Sports Sciences

Course Programme

  • Degree obtained: Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy + Physical Activity and Sports Sciences.
  • Credits/Duration: 72 ETCS credits x 5 years = 360 ECTS credits
  • Number of places: 30 places
  • Type of programme: Full time, taught sessions
  • Language of instruction: Spanish, Basque and English
  • Internships: Compulsory. 42 ECTS (from Year 2)
  • International programme: International mobility in Year 3
  • Undergraduate Final Year Project: 12 ECTS (6 ECTS in Physiotherapy and 6 ECTS in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences)

Undergraduate Final Year Project

Students on the Double Bachelor’s degree programme will be required to do two Undergraduate Final Year Projects:

Year 4  Undergraduate Final Year Project in Physiotherapy – 6 ECTS
Year 5 Undergraduate Final Year Project in Physical Activity and Sport - 6 ECTS

These projects are compulsory and students are required to defend their work in the second semester of Years 4 and 5. The Undergraduate Final Year Project is the ideal way to assess how well students have attained the competences envisaged in the degree programme.

In order to enrol for fourth year, students must have completed, or at least enrolled for, all of the core and compulsory subjects in the programme syllabus.

The Undergraduate Final Year Project is a report or study on an original topic. Students develop these projects under the supervision of a tutor, who will guide and assist them.

The Faculty of Psychology and Education will choose the topics, in keeping with the features of each degree programme.
