You will be assisted by a tutor every year of your degree. They are usually faculty lecturers who teach subjects in that particular year of study.
Some of your tutor’s duties include:
- Assessing you individually or in a group on academic, personal and/or professional aspects.
- Speaking on your behalf to the Dean’s Office, the Secretariat and other faculty members.
- Managing and cooperating with steps to improve your university years.
Your tutor is the person to turn to when you have any type of problem or question (about your studies, personal matters that affect your academic performance, new ideas for improvement, etc.).
Lecturers are responsible for holding academic tutorials on the subjects they teach. During these sessions, they will try to answer your questions or assist you with any problems concerning the subject matter, or provide you with guidance and follow up on projects and assignments.
See your lecturers’ office hours and office number on the academic staff profiles.
